The Bear Trail (Overview)

To earn the Bear badge, a boy must be in the third grade or nine years old, and must complete 12 of the 24 specified achievements listed in the BSA Bear Cub Scout Book. There are four different groups from which the boy may choose to complete the Bear Trail: God, Country, Family, and Self.

As an incentive for the Cub to work on his Bear achievements the Progress Towards Ranks badge is available. Contact the Awards Chairperson for more details.
